THE CITY OF BIOTECHNOLOGY AND HUMAN HEALTH OF LAVAL
The mandate of the Biotech City is to promote innovation as well as the competitiveness of corporations established within its perimeter, in conjunction with the resident institutions of research and higher learning.
The Biotech City is conveniently situated, close to major traffic arteries (Autoroutes 13, 15 and 440) and just 10 minutes from Montreal.
The Laval Biopole has over 73 companies in the biotech, pharmaceutical and human health sectors, 24 of which are already established in the Biotech City.
EMPLOYEE ADVANTAGES
Thriving at the heart of a campus that nurtures research and development, the Biotech City offers employees of resident corporations a protected woodland for walking and a cycling path linked to the Laval and Montreal networks. In addition, daycare service will soon be offered on the City site.
The LBDC is easily accessible by bus (10 minutes from the Henri-Bourassa Metro Station) and will soon have direct subway service with the future Montmorency Metro Station in Laval (500 m./approx.1/4 mile).
